eBay.es private sellers: 11.5% of the sale amount (2% on the portion above €2,000) + €0.35 per order (€0.05 if the order is under €10) + 0.42% regulatory compliance fee. Listing is free up to 150 ads/month. Official fees checked on 2026-10-09. Other eBay sites (UK, US, DE…) apply different fee structures.
5% per sold item for private sellers (single cards or lots), a €0.01 minimum per item, VAT included. On a €50 sale: €2.50. Adding TRUST costs another 0.5–1% depending on the shipping method.
Free to euro accounts; to pound accounts, a fixed £0.32 per withdrawal. Instantly topping up store credit (instead of the free deferred option) costs €0.35 + 5% of the amount.
On pure fees, no: a private seller on eBay Spain pays ~11.9% + €0.35 per order versus Cardmarket's 5%. eBay can make sense for non-TCG items or rare collectibles aimed outside Europe; for trading cards in Europe, Cardmarket is usually much cheaper.
With the €0.01 minimum and no fixed costs, selling cheap cards on Cardmarket still works in lots. If the card is valuable, you may want to grade it before selling: check here whether it pays off.
